It's simple to set up a Direct Debit in My BT. You’ll pay your whole bill on the due date on your bill, usually 8 days after the bill date.
Types of Direct Debit
There are two types of Direct Debit you can set up:
- Whole Bill Direct Debit - automatically pay the whole of each bill when it's due by Direct Debit
- Monthly Payment Plan - spread the cost of your quarterly bill by making fixed monthly payments by Direct Debit, based on an estimate.
