Change your EE TV package and EE TV Extras

BT TV is now EE TV. You'll still get all the same entertainment and sport you know and love. Find out what EE TV has to offer.

This article explains how to change your EE TV package or add EE TV Extras, including when you can upgrade or downgrade, how changes affect your contract and how to make updates online or by phone.

You can change or flex your EE TV package if what you watch changes. EE TV gives you flexible packages and monthly EE TV Extras like Netflix, TNT Sports and NOW memberships.

Upgrade your EE TV package

You can upgrade to get more channels and content without waiting for your contract to end.

Before you upgrade, be aware that:

  • you can upgrade at any point, except during the last 3 months of your contract
  • changes usually take up to 24 hours
  • you’ll pay the new price from the moment it changes
  • you’ll stay on the upgraded package until you choose to change again

Downgrade your EE TV package

If you no longer need as much content, you can move to a lower‑tier option without ending your contract.

Before you downgrade, be aware that:

  • you can downgrade once every 30 days
  • you can’t downgrade during the first month of your contract
  • you can’t downgrade during the last 3 months of your contract
  • changes usually take up to 24 hours
  • you’ll pay the new price from the moment it changes
  • you’ll stay on that package until you choose to change again
  • if a change starts a new contract, we’ll explain this clearly before you confirm

Adding or removing TV Extras

You can personalise your EE TV experience by adding or removing EE TV Extras whenever you like.

Extras give you access to additional content, such as streaming services or premium channels. You’re free to switch them on or off to suit what you want to watch.

There’s no long‑term commitment. You only pay for the Extras you choose, and you can remove them at any time so they won’t renew.

Changing multiple EE and BT services together

If you took EE TV with another BT service, like BT broadband, your options may depend on all services being outside their contract lengths.

This means:

  • some changes are only possible once all linked services have reached the end of their contract length
  • we’ll always tell you before you confirm if a change affects your contract

How to change your EE TV package and TV Extras

You can manage your package:

  • in the My BT app
  • by logging in to EE online
  • by calling us on 150 from your EE mobile, or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone

If you joined EE TV before February 2020

You can keep your current EE TV package and choose from selected EE TV Extras.

If you want to change your package, you’ll need to move to one of our flexible packages. You’ll still be able to choose from EE TV Extras.
