About the Smart Hub 3 ports

The Smart Hub 3 has, from left to right: 

  • Broadband port - for Part-Fibre service.
  • Phone port - used for Digital Voice service. 
  • 4 x gigabit Ethernet ports. 
  • 1 WAN port to connect to the Openreach modem, this is for Full Fibre only.
  • 1 USB port.

Older Smart Hubs and BT Home Hubs 

All our Hubs have ports (Gigabit or standard Ethernet) on the back for you to connect your devices.

The Smart Hub 2, Smart Hub and BT Hub 5 have four Gigabit ports.

The BT Home Hub 3 and 4 have Ethernet ports, so you can connect via an Ethernet cable.

The Smart Hub 2 also has a USB port and a Phone port for the Digital Voice service.
